Professional Firearms Training in Fort Mill, South Carolina

Millfort Tactical, a division of The Millfort Group, builds confident, capable people through firearms training, tactical education, fitness, outdoor adventure, leadership, preparedness, safety, and community. Private and group instruction serves Fort Mill, Rock Hill, Indian Land, and the Charlotte area, subject to range availability. Founder Steven Bivins brings more than 15 years of firearms-instruction experience and a background in Marine Corps and law-enforcement leadership. In-person training and events remain location-specific, while online education and community updates are designed to reach a growing national and international audience.

Build confidence and capability through private instruction tailored to your experience, goals, and comfort level.

Sessions are available for new shooters, experienced firearm owners seeking skill development, and anyone who wants focused attention in a professional learning environment. Group instruction and group rates are also available.

$100per hour

The instructional rate does not include range fees, ammunition, or targets. Those costs are paid separately by the participant.

The Sunday Standard · Church Safety

A welcoming church. A prepared team.

The Sunday Standard is Millfort Tactical’s church safety training program.

Help your leaders and volunteers know their roles, practice decisions, and keep improving. Start with the four-hour Church Safety Team Fundamentals workshop at your church, with tabletop exercises and a 30-day action plan.

  • Up to 20 participants, with printed workbooks
  • Two facilitated tabletop exercises
  • Personalized certificates for qualifying participants
  • Optional single-site review and prioritized findings

Churches located within Fort Mill city limits may receive the Team Fundamentals workshop at no cost. We confirm the church location, dates, and scope directly. Optional site reviews and expanded services receive a separate written quote. Standard workshops outside city limits start at $795. Local travel within 35 driving miles of Fort Mill is included.

Practical safety skills for ages 8–17.

Age-banded instruction helps young people make safer decisions online, in public, during emergencies, and as passengers or beginning drivers.

Programs are led by trained and experienced instructional staff and use calm, controlled exercises—without firearms or fear-based scenarios.

Training questions

Can I request private instruction if I am new to shooting?

Yes. Private instruction can be tailored to your experience, goals, and comfort level. Tell us that you are a first-time participant when you request a session. Millfort confirms the location and schedule after reviewing your request.

What does the $100 hourly rate include?

The rate covers private instruction. Range fees, ammunition, and targets are separate participant costs. Group instruction and group rates are also available; tell us about your group for details.

Are the proposed 2027 dates open for registration?

They are open for expressions of interest. Dates depend on instructor and venue availability and final confirmation. An inquiry does not reserve a place or request payment. Muster 001 remains postponed, with no replacement date announced.

Does Youth READY include firearms?

No. Youth READY provides age-appropriate safety education for ages 8–17, including online and public safety, emergency readiness, and teen driving topics. It does not include firearms.

How does a church request The Sunday Standard?

Send a church training inquiry with your location, group size, and preferred timeframe. Churches within Fort Mill city limits may receive Team Fundamentals at no cost. Millfort confirms location, scope, and scheduling directly; optional site reviews and expanded services receive a separate written quote.
