Young people learning practical community safety skills with an adult instructor
Prepared, Not Frightened

Skills young people can use in everyday life.

The goal is not to make young people afraid of the world. It is to help them notice problems earlier, choose a safe response, create distance, and get help from a trusted adult.

Every lesson is adjusted for age and maturity. Instruction combines guided discussion, decision-making exercises, communication practice, and controlled scenarios that reinforce sound judgment.

Participants practice how to:Identify unsafe situations and warning signsSet boundaries and communicate clearlyMove toward safety and reliable helpReport concerns without shame or confusionMake safer choices as independence grows
